کتاب هفتم هری پاتر با نام Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows کتابی است که سرنوشت هری پاتر و دیگر شخصیت‌های داستان را مشخص می‌کند. مسئله اصلی داستان هری پاتر هفت پیدا کردن جان پیچ‌های باقی‌مانده و در نهایت نبرد نهایی با ولدمورت است. در اواخر کتاب هری به راز بزرگ شاهزاده دورگه (اسنیپ) پی می‌برد. سرانجام پس از نابود کردن اکثر جان پیچ های ولدمورت هری به هاگوارتز می رود تا آخرین جان پیچ ولدمورت را پیدا کند.
